kirkleesraynet,previously known as Huddersfield and district raynet, has recently reformed. The main reasons
for the drop of HDR is that most of the members have passed away or feel that active duty is now too much for them to handle,
although some are still "associate members" which means they do not do the normal duties as such but are willing
to help if there is an emergency of any nature where we do get called out to assist.
Raynet members give their time freely and are always willing to help others at
functions, emergencies or just helping the emergency services make sure things go well for a good day out for everyone concerned.
